Monday the men's soccer team will be honoring 5 seniors during their match against Trinity College. This will be the last time these seniors will suit up for the Suns at home during the regular season. This will be a very special night for all 5 seniors culminating multiple years of hard work and effort these men put into this Sun's soccer program. The five seniors who will be honored on Monday are Clayton Underwood (SR/Terre Haute, IN), Tyler Gregory (SR/Jacksonville, FL), Connor Wood (SR/Orlando, FL), Dominick Jenkins (SR/Orlando, FL), and Devin Knight (SR/Savannah, GA).
Clayton Underwood has had a very memorable time here as a Sun. Clayton transferred last season from Clearwater Christian College and has had a major impact on the team since arriving. His skill on the field coupled with his leadership abilities as a captain this season are huge benefits that the team will surely miss when Clayton's time as a Sun has come to a close.
There is special significance for the four other members that will be honored on Monday. Connor Wood, Tyler Gregory, Dominick Jenkins, and Devin Knight are the final members remaining from the inaugural Johnson University Florida soccer team. This will be a moment to remember as the four men will play their final game with one another after three seasons with a team that they helped lay the foundation for.
The Sun's will be taking on Trinity College a team the Suns narrowly fell to defeat against in the first game of the season. The men's team will be looking to secure their first win of the season and send their seniors out on a high note. Please join us in recognizing all five of these seniors and supporting your men's soccer team Monday at 4 P.M.
